Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop a contextual understanding of the importance of coaching mentoring within our changing global economy
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of the roles of the coach and mentor and the characteristics of a good mentor
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how the coaching and mentoring process works – the where, what, how and when
  • Develop an understanding of one’s own personal mastery in the context of coaching and the mentoring relationship
  • Apply the structured process steps to developing a framework within which the mentoring relationship can be developed
  • Apply the interpersonal coaching and mentoring mastery skills to build a trusting relationship
  • Apply coaching and mentoring roles and skills to assist the mentee to harness his/her potential and to produce high level performance

Target Audience:

Team leaders, supervisors, first line managers, middle managers and senior managers (the programme content will be adapted for each level)
